Famous analyst: iPhone 16 sales have been in line with expectations so far

It was just a few weeks ago that the new series of Apple phones, i.e. iPhone 16, was released, and now is the right time to use supply chain reports to find out the sales statistics of new iPhones. Today, Ming-Chi Kuo talked about the sales figures of the iPhone 16 in a report with promising details.

Supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo provided an update on reports on the shipment process of the iPhone 16 series to stores. The biggest takeaway from the report is that sales numbers appear to be in line with expectations, and supply chain statistics show no slowdown.

It is usually a few weeks after a big product launch that there are signs of a possible decline in sales of that product. Apple does not share sales numbers; But one of the ways to understand this issue is to check the decrease or increase in supply chain statistics.

The iPhone 16 lineup appears to be meeting the company’s sales expectations, even though it doesn’t yet have any of Apple’s AI features. Kuo claims that although the demand for iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus was less than last year; But it seems that the Pro versions of Apple phones have better performance.

Kuo notes that suppliers have been asked to continue production of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max during the Chinese national holiday. This suggests that demand for Pro models has generally been in line with expectations so far.

There are still a lot of questions about iPhone 16 sales, and more descriptive data will make the actual iPhone sales numbers clearer. These data are expected to be released in early November with Apple’s quarterly earnings report.
