LG introduced a new lamp that doubles as an indoor garden. The lamp, which will be on display at CES, functions as an adjustable grow light and can cover the growth of 20 plants. The new LG lamp also lights up the house.
The new LG lamp has two different exposure modes; Down lighting during the day to help plants grow and up lighting at night to light up the house. According to LG, this lamp is equipped with a 5.6-liter water tank and automatically distributes the right amount of water and nutrients for the number and variety of growing plants.
At CES, LG will also show a lamp with a shorter base to be placed next to furniture, which provides the right space for plants to grow underneath. These lamps are compatible with the LG ThinQ application and allow the user to adjust the light. It is also possible to set the plant exposure schedule for when the user is not at home.

The introduction of new bulbs is not LG’s first attempt at creating indoor gardening technology. In 2019, this company introduced a home cultivation device called LG Tiiun. LG says its new bulbs have more water storage capacity than previous models. LG has not yet provided details on the price or when the new lamp will be available.
