The presence of two new products in the IMEI database indicates that Xiaomi is working on two three-piece foldable phones that will probably be introduced in 2025 and 2026.
One of Xiaomi’s new foldable phones is codenamed zhuque and is expected to launch in 2025. This codename was previously reserved for Xiaomi’s buttonless phone, and it seems that the phone in question will be both a three-piece foldable and the world’s first buttonless smartphone.
According to Smartprix, in 2026, Xiaomi is likely to launch another three-piece foldable phone with the model number 26013VP46C. 2601 in the model number refers to January 2026 (Day and Bahman 1404) and the letter C indicates that this phone will be exclusive to the Chinese market.
Both phones will probably be powered by the 5th generation Snapdragon 8 chip; A chip that we still don’t know any details about.
The new Xiaomi foldable phone that appeared in the IMEI database earlier is likely to come in two versions: one with satellite connectivity (model number 2503FVPB1C) and one without satellite connectivity (model number 25031VP29C). Apparently, the phone will only be sold in China.
