The display specifications of the flagship phones of the Oppo Find X8 family have been revealed
Oppo will probably unveil the Find X8 series of smartphones in China by the end of this year. The Fabband X8 series will apparently include three models: Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8 Ultra.
DigitalChatStation has shared details of the display of three Oppo phones by publishing a post on Weibo. Accordingly, Oppo Find X8 will have a flat 1.5K OLED display, Oppo Find X8 Pro will have a curved 1.5K OLED display, and Oppo Find X8 Ultra will have a curved 2K OLED display.
Apparently, the display of the new Oppo phones will be made by Tianma and BOE companies. It is said that the 2K 8T LTPO display made by BOE with the new substrate will have a significant improvement in quality, brightness and optimization in low light environments.
The Find X8 Ultra phone will be released sometime after its unveiling, probably in January 2025 (Dev Bahman 1403) with the Snapdragon 8 generation 4 chip. Normal and Pro models will probably use the Dimension 9400 chip.
The regular, Pro and Ultra Find X8 models will probably be powered by a 5600, 5700 and 6200 mAh battery respectively. All three phones will run Android 15 and ColorOS 15 user interface.
The Find X8 Ultra is likely to host four cameras on the rear panel, including two periscopic telephoto cameras similar to the Find X7 Ultra. The new Oppo flagship is expected to support two-way satellite connectivity and use an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. These features will probably be available in the Pro model as well.
