Seyyed Mohammad Amin Aghamiri, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace in Shiraz said: Contrary to what is published in the media, no voting has been done for filtering in the Supreme Council of Cyberspace so far, and the supporters and opponents of it are clear.

He added about the holding of these meetings: The meetings of the filtering working group are being held, and the first vice president, who is one of the experts in the field of cyberspace, attended the first meeting and the points were summarized with his opinion. The final opinion of the committee will be reviewed soon in the meeting of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace.

Not long ago, a list of supporters and opponents of removing filtering was published in the Supreme Council of Cyber Space, according to which the secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyber Space was one of the neutral people regarding the removal of filtering.

It has been almost three months since the first meeting of the Supreme Council of Cyber Space, chaired by Masoud Mezhidian, was held on Mehr 10, and it is not clear when this council will make the final decision on filtering.

In the latest statements related to this issue, Government Spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Sattar Hashemi said about the need to reach agreement and convergence, but no specific time was given to remove the filtering and how it would happen.
