“Aparat” platform unveiled the new version of its website and application in an event held on December 26. This new version is a redesign of the initial version of Aparat platform that was released 6 years ago, and now Aparat with the new version intends to have a more interactive and friendly atmosphere with its users and provide new features.
One of the most important changes in the app is the addition of a short video service, which is similar to the short section of YouTube. Mustafa Ahmadi, executive director of Aparat, explains about it as follows:
Today Aparat focuses on short videos and we will have this service in Aparat soon. Also, we have made it possible for producers to monetize the short video service as well.

According to him, the service has a “For You” section and an “Explore” section, which actually includes trending videos on the platform. Ahmadi said about the time of providing this service on the App and Aparat website: “In the coming weeks, the installation file of this service will be sent to content producers, and by the end of this year, users and content viewers will be able to use this feature to watch short videos.”
The new version of the device is optimized for display on large screens
Aparat’s executive director continued Aparat’s efforts to adapt to the way users use this platform: “15 years ago when Aparat was launched, the web world was a desktop world and users accessed Aparat with their computers. After that, the development of smartphones and the arrival of 4G and 5G internet led users to use mobile devices, and we prepared the platform to be presented on the phone. Currently, the type of user is moving towards using Big Screens like TV, and the cameras are also adapting to this change.”
It has been in line with adapting to the new type of use of users. The executive director of Aparat says that this platform presented its first version of Android TV and was optimized for users to use Aparat on TV. Akrami further announced the presentation of the second version of this Android TV:
This year, the second version of Android TV app is presented, the design of which has been completely changed. The user interface is integrated with the phone and desktop product, and the live broadcast section and additional content categories and the possibility of voice search are provided for users.

He further mentioned the capabilities of “recommendation” (suggested content) and “personalization” (personalized content) and said:
“In the recommendation section, related contents are suggested and displayed to the user, and with the personalization feature, contents are displayed to the user that match his interests and the videos he has viewed and searched before.”
Aparat seeks to provide world-class quality
In the end, the executive director of Aparat said to the content producers in Aparat who were present at this ceremony; “Significant changes have been made in the new version of Aparat and we hope to provide you content creators with a world-class experience.”
Ali Kazemi, the manager of the Aparat product design team, also said in the continuation of the event about the Aparat platform redesign project and its second version:
“Just as in the physical world, for example, the design of cars has changed compared to previous years, in the digital world, there is a need to make changes according to the needs. We also felt the need to change and improve the design in our platform, and we did it.”
He went on to say that with the growth of social networks, video changed from an official media format to a more casual format and found various uses, he said:
Aparat, as a video sharing platform, moved towards these changes to communicate more intimately with its users. Smooth, formal and sharp lines gave way to a design with a more intimate feeling. Not only in terms of appearance, but also the type of interaction between the device and the user was redesigned and thus became more intimate.

The changes in the version of the new devices are not only superficial
The manager of Aparat product team believes that the changes in the new version of Aparat have not only changed the appearance, but also the overall performance of the site. For example, in the new version, the speed of watching and moving between videos has increased.
Kazemi also mentioned the changes applied to content producers and said:
“The redesign path is not limited to pages related to users; Moreover, changes have been made on the content management dashboard, and content producers will see the results of these changes in a few days.”
Sobhan Mohammadian, the content editor of Aparat, also mentioned in this ceremony the release of the new program of this platform called “Aparatcast”, which will be broadcast every week from the 3rd of December. This program will host content producers so that users can see and hear their life stories.
