Samsung introduced the Galaxy M05; A mobile that has many similarities with the Galaxy A05 and seems to be a renamed version of the same phone.
M05 uses a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate. Above the screen, the eight-megapixel selfie camera can be seen in the form of a drop notch.
The back panel hosts a 50-megapixel main camera along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and LED flash. The Galaxy M05 uses the same MediaTek Helio G85 processor found in the Galaxy A05 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage expandable via microSD card.
Samsung’s latest budget phone runs One UI Core 6.0 and Android 14 operating system. Samsung says the M05 will receive two years of Android updates and three years of security updates.
The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging support. Galaxy M05 is available in only one configuration.
The new Galaxy M05 is priced at Rs 7,999 ($95) in India and will be available to Indian buyers soon.
