Pixel Screenshots application; Google’s answer to Microsoft’s Recall and mass organization of screenshots

Artificial intelligence has come a long way in the last few years and is capable of almost anything. Generating images and videos from text, answering users’ strange questions, writing official and friendly emails, and answering difficult questions that humans cannot solve at the moment are among the features of artificial intelligence models that users deal with on a daily basis.

Google has now increased the artificial intelligence capabilities of its new phones and provided the ability to manage and extract information from screenshots. This feature is very similar to Microsoft Recall; The service, which took screenshots of the user’s desktop every few seconds, was taken down shortly after its release due to security issues.

The Pixel Screenshots program is included as a new service in Pixel 9 phones, which analyzes the screenshots stored in the phone using artificial intelligence, with the help of the Gemini Nano AI private model and the features of the new Tensor G4 processor. Unlike Microsoft’s service, Google’s app doesn’t scan everything that’s going on in your phone, and only has access to manually recorded screenshots.
