OnePlus 13 will be introduced on October 31. OnePlus had previously released some technical specifications and official renderings of its new flagship, and now it has confirmed that a custom version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, called the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, will power the OnePlus 13.
Louis Leethe head of OnePlus China, confirmed in a post on Weibo that the OnePlus 13 flagship will come with 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Lee says the Snapdragon 8 Elite has improved significantly in terms of performance and power consumption; OnePlus 13 was developed in direct collaboration with Qualcomm and will have exclusive technologies to improve performance to bring a more suitable gaming experience to users.
Snapdragon 8 Elite is produced based on TSMC’s improved three-nanometer lithography and uses second-generation Oryon cores.
In the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, two second-generation Oryon cores in the Prime cluster work with a maximum frequency of 4.32 GHz, and six second-generation Oryon cores in the Performance cluster have a frequency of 3.53 GHz.
The official renders of the OnePlus 13 show that the phone will be available in black, blue, and white colors.
