The Minister of Communications of the government considered the creation, filtering and restriction of access to information to the detriment of the country, especially in the conditions of psychological warfare.

Mohammad Ghori, who has three terms at the helm of the Ministry of Communications, told KhabarOnline about filtering and the state of the Internet: “Given the critical conditions and the information war between Iran and its enemies, especially America, Europe and Israel, access to correct news and Authenticity is extremely important for people. “The people of Iran have the ability to distinguish correct information from incorrect information, and if the information reaches them quickly and without restrictions, they can make better judgments and make more rational decisions.”

Emphasizing that filtering and restricting access to information will be detrimental to the country, he continued:

In the current situation where there is a psychological and informational war against Iran, closing communication channels and restricting people will have negative and counterproductive effects instead of helping to strengthen security. Saying these things, Gharehi emphasized: “Filtering should be canceled so that people can easily access information and act with more vigilance and awareness in this complex information battle. Blocking the communication routes at this critical moment endangers the interests of the country.”

He pointed to the need to provide free and wide communication platforms and added: “This freedom of information and communication, while increasing the awareness and development of people’s talents, will lead to strengthening the country’s position against foreign threats.”
