The Windows 7 lock screen will soon support widget customization. This change has entered the test phase for Windows Insiders in the European Economic Region (EEA) with the release of Windows 7.1.
Windows 7.1 Bild 2.1 includes some other improvements, such as adding the Activity column to the Explorer file for those who have been logged in with School or Work accounts. Microsoft describes all the changes and reforms in its statement.
