Intel confirmed: the graphics of the new generation of Battlemage will be introduced on December 13th
Intel has officially confirmed that it will unveil its next-generation Arc Battlemage graphics cards on December 3rd.
It was previously claimed that Intel plans to release new graphics processors by the first quarter of 2025; But it seems that the release date has now been moved to December.
Intel’s official page on X posted a short video of Arc Graphics, pointing to December 3rd and the event being streamed via IntelGaming’s YouTube channel. Most likely, Intel plans to introduce B580 and B570 graphics at this event, which are the successors of the current Arc series graphics.
Arc B580 will be equipped with 160 computing units (CU) or about 20 Xe cores and will support 12GB of GDDR6 graphics RAM with 192-bit bus width, which places it in the mid-range graphics card segment of the market. It is said that this GPU has a maximum frequency of 2.8 GHz and uses two 8-pin power connectors. The price of the said graphic card is estimated at 250 to 260 dollars.
