Huawei’s next flagship will likely have an under-display facial recognition system

Although Huawei has not yet unveiled its Mate 70 series, today information about the 3D facial recognition system of the Huawei Mate 80 model was released. This company has always been trying to optimize the facial recognition system of its flagships.

According to new rumors, Huawei plans to move its facial recognition solution completely under the display. Now, one of the users of the Weibo social network with the nickname Fixed Focus Digital published a screenshot of a conversation that suggests the possibility of using this new facial recognition technology in the Mate 80.

According to the report of Huawei Central, the possibility of providing new facial recognition technology in Huawei Mate 70 is small for two reasons. First of all, in this phone, Huawei focuses on adapting and optimizing the new HarmonyOS NEXT operating system and software and tries to integrate the new Kirin processor with this phone. According to rumors, the Huawei Mate 70 is in trial production and we are probably getting closer to mass production.

The second reason is that Huawei’s in-display 3D facial recognition technology is apparently still in its early stages of development. Although the technology is said to have started testing, it will likely take more time to implement a perfect experience.

Using new face recognition technology is not out of mind for a company like Huawei. This technology can provide a pleasant and seamless user experience by eliminating the need for a hole or any cut in the mobile phone screen.

The base models of Mate 60 did not use 3D facial recognition technology; But we expect to see the use of this technology even in the base models of Mate 70.
