written by Mark GermanApple’s smart home display is attached to an adjustable arm and sits on a small hemispherical base that resembles the iconic iMac G4 design from two decades ago.
The said device will probably have speakers and basically become a HomePod with a screen, which is one of the Cupertino’s ideas for the future of smart homes.
Garmin did not mention the price of Apple’s smart home monitor; But rumors suggest that the creator of the iPhone will release a thousand-dollar model equipped with a robotic arm that moves the screen by 2026.
It is said that Apple’s smart home device will run a special version of some applications such as FaceTime, Calendar and Notes and will work with Apple’s artificial intelligence.
The iMac G4’s LCD panel was attached to an adjustable stand that sat atop a hemisphere with an optical drive and a fourth-generation PowerPC G4 processor. The iMac G4 was sold only in white and came with an Apple Pro keyboard and mouse. This product was in the market for less than three years (2002 to 2004).
