Last week, Apple released the latest developer beta of its operating system, with a host of AI features previously announced at WWDC that are set to make their way to iPhones, iPads, and Macs in the coming months. Default instructions for Apple Intelligence features appear as messages that are displayed before anything you say to the chatbot, and we’ve already seen examples of them in AI tools like Microsoft Bing and DALL-E. Now a member of the macOS 15.1 beta subcommunity has announced on Reddit that he has discovered files containing these instructions. You won’t be able to change any of the files, but they provide some indication of how Apple’s AI works.
