Android 15 is now rolling out to Pixel devices, bringing new privacy features and security tools, and improvements for foldable phones and tablets.
Android 15 was introduced last month through the Android open source project; But at that time, it was not yet available on Pixel phone and Pixel tablet or other Android devices. Google announced today that Android 15 is finally coming to Pixel devices, along with a bunch of new Pixel features.

One of the important new features in Android 15 is the ability to create a “Private Space” for applications that you may want to keep hidden from those who access your phone.
According to Google, the apps you place in the private space won’t show up in your recent apps, notifications, or settings. To access this space, the user must go through additional authentication steps, and even the presence of private space can be hidden on your phone.
On flip phones and tablets, Android 15 allows users to pin or unpin the taskbar for easier access to their apps. If you have certain apps that you often use at the same time, you can define an “app pair” and access that pair of apps through an icon.
Google is adding two new features to Android that will help you lock your phone if it’s stolen. The first feature is called Theft Detection Lock, which uses artificial intelligence to detect that your phone has been stolen and automatically locks it.
The second feature is called Remote Lock, which allows you to lock the phone through another phone and your phone number and a simple security check. Google says that “most” devices running Android 10 and later will get the feature, and some people already have it.
Also, Google plans to start rolling out new features for Pixel phones, including Night Sight for Instagram to take better photos in low light and more controls for Audio Magic Eraser.
In the next few weeks, Google will add another new feature that will allow users to transfer media content from a Pixel tablet to a Pixel phone just by holding the devices together.
