All Samsung Galaxy S25 models have 12GB of RAM

In order to save its users from confusion in choosing the configuration of the phone, Samsung will offer the Galaxy S25 series only with a 12GB RAM option, and there will be no news of the 16GB flagship model.

In general, the more features phones get, the more RAM they will need to perform their tasks. This issue becomes more important especially considering that Google’s Jumnai 2 artificial intelligence covers the top of Samsung’s best phone.

The Korean tech giant unveiled the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra at the Unpacked 2025 event held in San Jose, California. According to the official specifications, all three models use 12GB of RAM, and for some reason, Samsung has decided to skip the 16GB configuration of the Ultra model.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra was launched with 12GB of RAM, so we expected to see a RAM upgrade on the S25 Ultra this year. The Galaxy S25 is the only phone to experience an increase in RAM, going from 8GB to 12GB.
