Last month, the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro phones were introduced in China. Now it is said that the brand is working on a new series of Redmi Turbo 4 phones for the domestic market.
According to a new report, Wang Teng Thomasthe CEO of Redmi, released a video announcing that Redmi plans to introduce a new device this month, which is called the “small tornado”. He seems to be referring to the upcoming Redmi Turbo 4.
It is said that the phrase “small tornado” is the code name of the Redmi Turbo series, which indicates that the Redmi Turbo 4 will be officially unveiled this month. The mentioned device will be introduced as the first phone in the world with Dimensity 8400 chip. Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 3 was unveiled in April this year.
Dimension 8400 is made using TSMC’s four-nanometer process and uses Cortex-A725 cores with a frequency of more than 3 GHz. This processor has Immortalis-G925 MC12 graphics similar to Dimension 9400. Dimensity 8400 managed to score more than 1.7 million points in the Entuto benchmark, which was higher than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 score.
