In an unexpected decision, Microsoft has once again delayed the controversial Windows 11 Recall feature developed for Copilot Plus PCs.
The Redmond giant had announced that it would begin public testing of Recall in October (which ended today) for Windows Insider users; But now it has come to the conclusion that it needs more time to prepare the recall.
Recall, which was introduced months ago with great fanfare, saves almost everything you do on your computer in the form of screenshots.
A Microsoft spokesperson said in a statement to The Verge that the company is committed to providing a secure and reliable experience and needs more time to deliver on its promises. Microsoft says that it will make the Recall feature available to Windows Insider users by December.
