Xiaomi introduced a new magnetic cooling called Magnetic Cooling Clip for smartphones. This product is designed to reduce the heat of phones when performing heavy activities such as gaming and streaming. The mentioned device is sold at the price of 199 yuan (about 28 dollars).
The Magnetic Cooling Clip uses a 30-watt semiconductor cooler, and its aluminum fins effectively direct the air flow to the outside. The high-speed fan of this product rotates with seven blades at a speed of 6300 rpm.
According to ITHome, the Xiaomi cooler can reduce the phone’s temperature to 0 degrees Celsius in just 25 seconds and bring the temperature to minus 10 degrees in ideal conditions. Of course, the performance results of this device in real conditions will probably be different.
Magnetic Cooling Clip uses hot and cold temperature tracking algorithm to automatically adjust the temperature and optimize the cooling process. This product also supports Extreme Cold mode, which is designed to achieve lower temperatures. The over-temperature protection feature also ensures real-time monitoring of the phone’s temperature and extends the device’s lifespan.
The Xiaomi cooler has four customizable RGB lighting modes. For added convenience, users can access these settings as well as temperature monitoring through the Mi Home app, which allows fine-tuning the device remotely.
