Meta added a new feature called Activity status to Threads so that users can see who is active online while scrolling through their feed. Adam Mussery Head of Trades introduces this feature as a way to help users find people they want to connect with instantly.
Based on the images shared by Mossari, the Trades Online Status feature will be displayed next to the user’s profile picture in the feed as well as on their main profile.

The good news is that if you don’t want others to know you’re online on Trades, you don’t have to share it. “Only people who have enabled online status can see other people’s online status, and this feature can be disabled through settings,” Mossari says.
Currently, some people may not be able to activate the online status feature in Trades. Probably, the mentioned feature will be available for all users.
