Simultaneously with the unveiling of Cybercab and Robovan cars at Tesla’s new event, a number of humanoid robots of this company entered the scene and created exciting moments. In one of Tesla’s promotional videos, we saw the humanoid robot Optimus doing human tasks.
Elon MuskTesla’s CEO said at the We, Robot event that the Optimus robot will be among the people. People can turn to Optimus for a variety of tasks, he said, and the robot will be able to do things like pour a drink into a glass. Musk said that in his opinion, Optimus will be the biggest product ever.
After the main event, a live video of the event was played where people interacted with the Optimus robots. Of course, despite all the improvements, Tesla’s robots still don’t do much.
Last year, Elon Musk presented a new model of the Aptimus robot, which is lighter and faster than the first model. He said at Tesla’s previous financial conference that Optimus will learn to do useful things by the end of this year, and its sales will probably start by the end of 2025. According to Musk, Optimus will likely cost between $20,000 and $30,000.
