In terms of design, the Nothing Ear (Open) doesn’t seem to be much different from other companies’ wireless handsets. This product uses a large ring that wraps around the ear and is responsible for holding the 14.2 mm driver. SoundCore and JBL companies have also used the same design in their products.
It is said that the battery capacity of Nothing Ear (Open) will be around 8 hours and up to 30 hours including the charging case. This charging rate is a little lower than standard headphones that use noise canceling technology.
Based on the published images, the Nothing Ear (Open) charging case is very wide but relatively narrow. It is also said that the weight of each earbud reaches 8.1 grams, and both earbuds together with the charging case use the IP54 certificate to resist splashing water. Other features of this product include support for ChatGPT when connecting to the phone and the possibility of bass amplification.
