Honor, which had previously introduced MagicPad 2 for the Chinese market, now introduced this tablet for the global markets at the IFA 2024 event.
According to Honor’s official statement, the thickness of 5.8 mm and the weight of 555 grams of Magic Pad 2 make it easy to carry the tablet. The old screen of the device has a resolution of 3K and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and its maximum brightness reaches 1600 nits.
Honor’s Magic Pad 2 uses AI Defocus Display and PWM technologies with a frequency of 4320 Hz for the comfort of the users’ eyes. It is said that the tablet in question expands the sound field by 25% more than the previous generation thanks to eight speakers and IMAX Enhanced and DTS certifications.
Magic Pad 2 is equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8s 3rd generation processor and its 10,050 mAh battery is powered by a 66W charger. The latest Honor tablet is launched with MagicOS 8.0 user interface and Android 14 operating system.
Honor has added a lot of artificial intelligence-based features to this product, such as voice-to-text conversion, handwriting beautification, and formula recognition. With the help of Magic Portal feature, you can access various programs and services with one move.
The main and selfie cameras of the Magic Pad 2 have a resolution of 13 and 9 megapixels, respectively. Other features of this device include Bluetooth 5.3, triple microphone and support for Honor Magic Pencil 3.
The price of the new Magic Pad 2 tablet for the version with 512 GB of storage space and 12 GB of RAM is about $665. The said tablet is sold in white and black colors and thanks to its various features, it can compete with devices like Galaxy Tab S9 and iPad Pro.
