After the Brazilian Supreme Court judge’s ruling to ban X (formerly Twitter), it seems that Brazilian users have taken to Bluesky’s social network in a big way.
“Brazilians, you are setting new records for the amount of activity on BlueSky!” the official BlueSky account posted.

The Bluesky application is very similar to X in terms of appearance and performance, but it is actually a decentralized social platform built on the AT protocol.
Fraser says Bluesky is seeing 1,000 events per second, which is a new milestone for the platform.
Decentralized social network Mastodon and MetaTrader have yet to comment on whether they have experienced a traffic boost due to X being blocked in Brazil.
