The order of the doctors to the Minister of Science: Return the expelled students and professors to the university
During the induction ceremony of the Minister of Science, Research and Technology, the President called for a review of the dismissal of professors and the return of suspended students to universities.
Massoud Bezikian today noon in the introduction ceremony Hossein Simai Saraf said: “I asked the Minister of Science to review all the professors who have left the university in any way, whose contracts have been canceled or they have been fired, and to return the students to the university.”
Referring to the fact that he made a similar request to the ministers of health and education yesterday, he said about the protesting students: “The student is protesting and I have to answer him. If what he says is right, I must obey, or he is wrong, I will guide him.”
“A student cannot be a bad person, a student is someone who is the future of our country and should be able to ask questions.”
Referring to the establishment of free-thinking chairs, he continued: “A free-thinking chair means I can speak freely.” The student can be guided, justified, and if he is right, I should correct myself, not hit him. If the student says my fault, instead of breaking him, I should break myself. If we can accept this, then the country will be prosperous.”
