Samsung’s next budget phone has a leather back panel

It was about three months ago that Samsung introduced the Galaxy F55 with a leather back panel (silicone polymer) and now it plans to use the same material on the back panel of its future budget phone.

According to 91Mobiles, the back panel of the affordable Galaxy F05 will be made of synthetic leather. According to the images, the display of the device will have thick bezels and a U-shaped notch. The power and volume buttons are located on the right side and the SIM card slot is located on the left side of the plastic frame.

In the leaked renders, the Galaxy F05 is seen in blue, but there are likely to be other colors as well. The latest Samsung phone was previously seen with the model number SM-E055F/DS and supports Wi-Fi 5.

Probably, as in the past, both Galaxy F05 and Galaxy M05 phones will have the same specifications, including a 6.7-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a low-end MediaTek processor, a 13- and 5-megapixel main and selfie camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery.

These phones are expected to launch with Android 14 and receive at least two major software updates. The price of the phones is not yet known; But it is said that the Galaxy M05 will be sold in Latin America and South Asia, unlike its brother, which is only sold in India.

The use of synthetic leather on the back panel will give users a much better feeling than plastic; Of course, the quality of artificial leather used in the mentioned phone is not at the level and size of a device like Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
