Usually, processor changes are related to optimization and increasing power; But apparently this year is a different story than a simple update. According to the rumors, the iPhone 16 will be equipped with an A18 processor and 8 GB of RAM (the iPhone 15 was equipped with 6 GB of RAM).
The changes in the iPhone 16 processor allow this phone to support Apple’s artificial intelligence features. Currently, Apple’s artificial intelligence features are supported only in Pro versions of Apple phones. Apple’s first artificial intelligence features, which are currently being tested in the beta version of iOS 18.1, are expected to be released to the public around October.
The second change is related to the “action button”. iPhone 15 Pro replaced the classic iPhone silent slider with a new action button; Apparently, the action button will be added to all iPhone models this year. The user can assign the action button to applications such as using the camera, silent mode, shortcuts, flashlight, translator and others.

The third change is related to the “capture button”. In addition to the action button, we expect to see the addition of a new recording button on the right side of the phone in iPhone 16. This button will act as a quick way to open the camera app. According to rumors, this button will be touch-sensitive and will allow you to zoom in by swiping your hand to the left and right.
The capture button also makes it easier to focus on images without tapping the screen. You can focus on the image by pressing the record button, and then press the button further to take the picture.

The last and fifth change is related to the iPhone 16 battery, which will increase the battery life of this phone. Rumors have claimed that Apple will use a new engineering in the battery of the iPhone 16 series, which will ultimately lead to an increase in battery density. By increasing the battery density, it is possible to achieve more charging with the same size iPhone 15 battery or even smaller.
