This is the last 8-cylinder Maserati in the world; Farewell to 572 horsepower

Maserati, like most automakers, is preparing for the future, with new platforms, powertrains, and models coming from this automaker. This Italian brand stopped the production of Ghibli and Levante equipped with V8 engine last year, and now it is the Quattroporte’s turn to leave the scene with its 3.8-liter twin-turbo engine.

According to Motor1, the Maserati Quattroporte Grand Finale is the last example of this model with a V8 engine. The automaker has used its Fuoriserie customization program to add special features to the car.

The Quattroporte Grand Finale is finished in a special Nobile Blue color and a carbon fiber body kit in the same color, with brushed aluminum brake calipers.

The Quattroporte Grand Finale has a wood-trimmed steering wheel, black leather A-pillars, brown door panels and other wood trim. The Maserati logo is engraved on the rest of the seats and on the door sills we see the writing of Quattroporte Grand Finale. Also, there is a special Grand Finale badge on the center console.

Under the hood of the Maserati Quattroporte Grand Finale is a 3.8-liter twin turbo V8 engine with a power of 572 horsepower and a torque of 730 Nm. On the engine of this car, a special cover with the signature of Fuoriserie Maserati team and its manufacturing engineers can be seen.

The sixth generation Quattroport was on the market since 2014, and it is not out of the question to stop its production. However, apparently this is not the end of the Quattroporte and a new version is in the works. It is expected that the new version will be smaller than the Ghibli model and will be introduced without the V8 engine.

Maserati delivered the Quattroporte Grand Finale to an unknown American owner along with a custom Maserati MC20.
